Choose the right type of pallet
Liquidation and clearance pallets: compare the contents, quantities and condition of each lot. Surplus and end-of-line stock can be different from customer returns; the word “liquidation” alone does not tell you whether items are new, tested or complete.
Customer-return pallets: returned goods may have faults, missing parts, damaged packaging or signs of use. Read the individual advert for the condition and any testing information. Our returns and clearance stock category also includes other lot sizes.
Clothing pallets: check the brand, size range, style mix and quantities against what your customers buy. For smaller lots and specific clothing types, explore wholesale clothing.
Mystery and parcel pallets: contents may be unknown or only partly described. Check what the advert says is included and allow for items that may not suit your resale business. Do not assume every parcel has the same value or condition.
Compare the complete lot cost
Start with the type of stock you can sell and the amount you want to spend. Compare the joblot price, not just the price per item, and check quantities, photographs and any available item breakdown.
Before buying, check applicable VAT, delivery details and any restrictions in the advert. Make sure you have suitable space to receive and store the stock. Suggested retail values are a guide; your selling price and costs will determine your return.
