We start by sourcing genuine, heavy-weight wool tartan woven in Scotland. This premium fabric is then shipped to our fair-trade dressmaking partners in the mountains of Nepal, where it is hand-layered with cotton, knit fabrics, and delicate lace to create a truly global "Tribal Punk" masterpiece.

Designed for Versatility The signature feature of this skirt is the front lace-up system. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it allows the garment to be highly adjustable. You can cinch it tight for a high-waisted look or loosen the laces to wear it lower on the hips over leggings or trousers.

Unique Artisan Character & Shabby Chic Finish Please be aware that these are "one-off" designer pieces. We employ a deliberate "frayed finish" on the wool and lace edges to give the skirt its characteristic "shabby chic" and lived-in appearance.

IMPORTANT: Current Color Stock Warning As every skirt is unique, the tartan pattern you receive will vary from the one pictured. Our current stock is comprised of moody, darker tones—predominantly deep forest greens, navy, and charcoal blacks. There are no "bright" red or yellow tartans in this batch.
