Where in the UK has seen the biggest rise in people making money through side hustles?
In the index below, we have ranked the top 25 most populated cities in the UK against 13 different money-making techniques to see which city is the side hustle capital.
We gathered Google search volume using Google Keyword Planner from March 2020 to the latest date available and
then used ONS estimates of populations to account for population differences.
We then normalised the data to make a score from 1 to 10 using the below formula:
