This wholesale lot of Selfie Sticks with a universal fit for mobile phones are a no-brainer aren’t they? Picture the scene: Captain Kirk, Sulu, Mr Spock and several highly disposable extras in red shirts beam down to an alien surface. What’s the first thing they’re going to do? Take selfies of course! Especially if they meet up with a few gorgeous twenty something female aliens in very revealing outfits.
2. Multicolour Rotating Party LightI’m guessing that budgets for the original Star Trek series were limited back in the 1960s, and quite often some of the lighting effects were very dodgy. The answer to Mr Spock’s quandary here would be these rather wonderful USB or battery operated multi-coloured Rotating Party Lights. Just sprinkle a few of these around the set and it would look very sci-fi I’m sure.
3. Bum BagHilariously known in the USA as ‘fanny packs’, these bum bags or money pouches are worth their weight in uranium. They are comfortable to wear with a fully adjustable strap and have a large main pocket for your phaser, tricorder and communicators and a smaller one for your space passport. They are completely unisex so both male and female astronauts could wear them and they come in a variety of colours to match all the different uniform colours – red for the engineers, blue for the science staff and erm … well those in yellow like Captain Kirk, Sulu and Chekov could wear the black.
4. Wholesale job lot Of 5 Apple Black Ipad 4’sThis wholesale job lot of 5 Apple Black Ipad 4’s with 16GB WI-FI retina display were originally released in October 2012. They come with Bluetooth 4.0 technology, a 9.7-inch Retina display, FaceTime HD camera (great for contacting the Enterprise) and a 10-hour battery life (any more and there would be no suspense to the story lines when people were missing and out of communication range). Mr Spock would have thought this was perfectly illogical however, because to be fair – these are bigger than the communicators and might not fit in the bum bag
5. Wholesale job lot of Snow and Ice Boot Grips (AA Winter Car Essentials)Now, how many times did Mr Spock and company beam down to a freezing surface? Surely these Snow and Ice Boot Grips would have come in extremely handy on their little leather boots?
6. Wholesale lot of 20 Original 80’s Boom BoxesWhat about these Original 80’s Boom Boxes (compatible with today’s Smart Phones)? Who can fail to remember that awesome scene on the bus in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home? Well if you haven’t seen it it’s here.
I’m not sure Mr Spock was a fan of the boom box but perhaps the crew of the Enterprise could have recycled the components to make the engine’s work every time they were stranded again (about every other episode).
7. 3Kw 1.8Ltr 360 Rapid Boil Cordless Domed KettleIt wasn’t Mr Spock but Captain Kirk who favoured tea from a thermos I believe. I’m sure these kettles would have brewed up a storm. This clearance item of 3Kw 1.8Ltr 360 Rapid Boil Domed Kettle – E1509SS would have been a stylish accompaniment to Captain Kirk’s quarters I’m sure.
8. Job lot of 10 Brit Chic Dresses Kids in Various ColoursOh my! As George Takei (who played Sulu would say). These dresses are a bit psychedelically wow man! Admittedly these are for children but many of the actresses who worked alongside Mr Spock and Kirk were tiny. Perhaps not this tiny. But they did like their skirts short, didn’t they?
9. Dog Dinosaur Costumes
Perhaps not Mr Spock … but if you ever saw the episode “The Trouble with Tribbles” you can just imagine how cute they would have looked dressed up. And come to think of it, some of the costumes for animals were this dodgy. Besides this is a super cute item and aliens come in all shapes and sizes.
10. Vintage Pimp Men’s UnderwearAnd finally! How about this Vintage Pimp Men’s Underwear? I think Mr Spock would approve of being held snugly in place while he was gallivanting around the universe. Star Trek (the first version) had the advantage of not having overly tight trews, unlike the reboots that followed, where for the most part you could see what Picard et al had consumed for lunch! So yes, let’s hear it for sexy skimpies.
And FinallyLeonard Nimoy, Mr Spock, we salute you and hope you RIP and LLAP.
